Welcome The National Centre for Knowledge on Men's Violence against Women (NCK)

2022-01-16

On January 1, 2022, The National Centre for Knowledge on Men’s Violence against Women (NCK) joined the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health.

The National Centre for Knowledge on Men’s Violence against Women (NCK) is an interdisciplinary national knowledge centre for issues on men’s violence against women.  NCK has been commissioned by the Government to increase the knowledge of men's violence against women in Sweden, and to develop methods for the treatment and care of women subjected to violence.

With the purpose of strengthening NCK’s connection to education and research at Uppsala University, the centre will be located organisationally at the Faculty of Medicine, at the Disciplinary Domain of Medicine and Pharmacy, and administratively at the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health. This will improve the requirements for fulfilling the focus, purpose and goals of the centre.
A warm welcome NCK!
