An exciting new EU funded collaboration “ENTWINE” for U-CARE

Professor Louise von Essen and Dr Joanne Woodford from Uppsala University Psychosocial Care Programme (U-CARE) are involved in an exciting new international collaboration: ENTWINE (European Training Network on Informal Care).

Professor Louise von Essen and Dr Joanne Woodford from Uppsala University Psychosocial Care Programme (U-CARE) are involved in an exciting new international collaboration: ENTWINE (European Training Network on Informal Care). ENTWINE  is a new 4-year Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovation Training Network (ITN), funded by the European Union in September 2018. Aiming to bridge the care gap, ENTWINE will sustain informal caregivers – those who provide unpaid care to a relative or friend – willingness to care, enhance their ability to provide care, and improve their quality of life by taking a multidisciplinary and intersectoral approach to intervention review, development and contextualization.
