This is the fourth of six breakfast seminars in the TakeOff! seminar series on accelerating the impact of research in society. The seminars are open to PhD students, postdocs and researchers in all disciplines.

Plan your impact journey, part II

In this seminar we touch upon how to go from an identified knowledge asset (an idea) to something that creates value for someone else, and we discuss what activities may be included to make this transformation happen. We also share our knowledge and best tips on how to successfully collaborate with external organisations. What is co-creation about and what are the opportunities and pitfalls? What is NDA, CDA, MTA and what to consider before signing them?

Have breakfast with Uppsala University Innovation and at the same time build your skills to improve impact in society. The seminar series - Take Off! - includes six seminars, every second Wednesday from 15 January to 25 March. You can choose to attend all seminars, or just a few based on your needs.

In this seminar series you will learn about key aspects of creating impact, beyond publications. The seminars will give you a step-by-step introduction to the concept of impact, and provide you with tools for defining the potential impact of your research. In addition, you will learn how to successfully communicate the impact of your research and what support is available to help you on your journey towards impact.
