Seminarium - Addressing Health Challenges in Immigration Detention 19 oktober

Soorej Puthoopparambil, senior lecturer/associate professor at KBH, participates at MAYday for Crisis seminar that addresses health challenges in immigration detention in a collaborative project between UU and the WHO. The seminar takes place 19 October at 12.15-13.00

Soorej Puthoopparambil is running a project on developing a country implementation guide for addressing health challenges in immigration detention centres in the WHO European region which include 53 countries. The guide is intended to offer practical guidance to policy makers and practitioners. The project is developing the technical guidance with support from UU Samverkan in form of funding from Verifiering för Samverkan (VFS) and is part of a WHO collaborating centre on migration and health data and evidence - the only one in Sweden and one of four globally.
