Welcome to the U-CARE BrainPub seminar Process evaluation of complex interventions – how to use theory in the design and evaluation taking recent examples from implementation studies with Lecturer Markus Saarijärvi!

Process evaluations can be used to explore context, innovation or intervention mechanisms, and how implementation is achieved in complex interventions. A lot of focus has been on methodological aspects of performing evaluations and theoretical approaches to evaluation are somewhat undisclosed.

In this seminar, Markus Saarijärvi will discuss the use of theory in the design and undertaking of process evaluations of complex interventions, taking examples of implementation studies from his own and other research.

The seminar is part of the U-CARE BrainPub seminar series and open to everyone to attend. The seminar will be in English. Those who want can join for an AW after the seminar.
