U-PAIN
U-PAIN is an interdisciplinary research program dedicated to research challenges within the area of chronic pain. We are physiotherapists, biomedical scientists, physicians, nurses, medical social workers, and psychologists with a common mission to develop future of pain care. The staff is affiliated to Department of Neuroscience and the Pain Centre at the University Hospital in Uppsala.
U-PAIN comprises an infrastructure for interdisciplinary and translational pain research making scientific studies and development of innovative methods for pain diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation possible.
We work at the Department of Women's and Children's Health at Uppsala University and at the Pain Clinic at Uppsala University Hospital.
